The crows have come along with the snow and solitude. Today we walked through the park and except for the crows, were the only ones there. They have captured my attention. I had been wondering about them, vaguely remembering their presence in the park as I painted this earlier in the fall. And now as I walk my neighborhood and elevate my gaze to the glow of the sky, I see one crow, two, wings spread, making their way to the park. I remember that this is their time. This is when the crows come to be seen by those who dare to venture into the cold.
